A long story… In 1996, I must have seen THAT THING YOU DO! 5 times in the theater. I loved every minute of it and I certainly wouldn’t have imagined that 27 years later, I would be the showrunner of a show starring @johnschaech and guest starring @ethanembry in the season finale of season 1. Well… unbeknownst to me, Johnathon had a surprise in order. You see a few years earlier Johnathon, Steve Zahn and Tom Everett Scott were at an event together for the film and they all signed a poster specially made for that specific event. Johnathon secretly had Ethan sign the poster for me while we were shooting Blue Ridge but (here’s the kicker), he also flew to Nashville for a meeting with Mr. Tom Hanks. He took the poster with him and Tom signed it for me. So here is one of the only copies of this specific poster signed by all the Wonders (Oneders) and Mr. White! I love this business.
