Ever since I started color grading at the beginning of 2020, I never looked back. Pursuing the art of 'film emulation' was also the best decision I've ever made and I'm real happy to be taken seriously as a colorist since then.
I made another account @johnrazalocolor where I'll showcase all my color work and in hopes of doing this full time in the future outside of other freelance projects.

late nights mv ❤️🔥 directed a special one for my talented friend @thederekdali . when we were catching up as per usual he asked if i was down to make a music video much like how we began our first collab early in the years, i said yes easy. funny thing is his idea was ‘that thing you’re doing with the hong kong 90s aesthetic, let’s just do that’, so now this is the final result.

fast forward to today, after comparing countless frames from hk films for its color and texture, I feel like i'm reaching endgame.
