And the upcoming highlight of my June. @johnpsathas and I are back with ‘Voices at the End’ at the Andriessen festival, Arnhem.
After New Zealand, and Ireland in the last few months, John and I now bring our show to the Netherlands on June 6th.

2HT will be followed by the show’s namesake; the EPIC ‘Voices At the End’ before we continue preparations for the upcoming @johnpsathasgroup tour of NZ in August.
My heart is full ❤️
This has been a crazy semester! Thanks to the organizational skills of Mike Sammons @uofuperc , we had a pretty incredible clinic with @johnpsathas , as well as a concert with almost every university percussion ensemble in the state.
Evening of Percussion was such a unique performance and educational experience, and we couldn't be more grateful to have participated with Cloud Folk and Encore 2!
More posts to come about everything else we've been up to this last month.

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a residency for world renowned composer John Psathas. Whether it was working on post production for the FSUPExPSATHAS collab album, “La Cuna”, coaching featured works for the percussion ensemble concert, or giving inspiring lectures to the composition studio, our time with him was nothing short of amazing. What an incredible way to celebrate a generational milestone for our studio! Stay tuned the album’s big release!

Spheric sounds, a haunting atmosphere and a rhythmically complex middle part are only words to describe the John Psathas´ composition "Summary" - here ingeniously performed by Marianna Bednarska.

The extraordinary Dawn Hardwick travelled all the way from the UK to perform in John Psathas’ Voices at the End at The Great Hall, Massey University, Te Whanganui-a-Tara - to a packed house. 🎹
This powerful, cinematic work reflects on where humanity is heading, and how we might come together to shape a better future. It was an evening that left us both thoughtful and inspired.
You can learn more about the project, including all the text featured in the performance, at jpsathas.com/music/vate.
