You built the network. You got the access. You made the connections. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you started shaping yourself around the room instead of bringing yourself into it.
Your network absolutely impacts your net worth.
That part is true. But there is a second half that most people never say out loud: Do not lose yourself in the pursuit of both. Because a network built on a version of you that is not real will not hold. And a net worth built on access rather than identity will not last.
