Johnny Based & Blood Orchid met in Miami, while Johnny was there for his debut performance in Florida. They linked up at Blood’s studio and the musical chemistry blossomed instantly.
Starting with a steady 4/4 club beat, Johnny laid down the darkwave synth lines and Blood added the haunting bass. During a conversation about the ups and downs of being a performing artist and the cheers of the crowd being like a drug that gives them life, the concept of The Lore formed.
They both recorded their goth style vocals orbiting this theme and the rest is history

The gratitude I am filled with is really hard to put into words, so I do my best to show that on stage every time I perform for you. Every creation has been guided by the divine, and each one has strengthened my connection to my inner child.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the journey!! This shit wouldn’t be possible if it didn’t resonate with you all and I’m extremely grateful. You really don’t understand how much this all means to me. I just want to let you all know this is the beginning of forever.
