The boys Rockland Cty (NY) 3000 steeple chase was much like the girls race with two runners doing battle throughout. In the end Joaquin Villan (Nanuet) dips under 10:00 winning in 9:58.32 the #24 time in the USA and the #19 in NYS so far in 2026

2025 NYS 2000 steeple runner-up Bridget Dunn (Tappan, Zee) battles Gaby Castro (North Rockland, NY) and holds off a late charge to win the Rockland County title in 7:03.68-7:04.31. The times are currently #11 & 12 in the USA and #4 & #5 in NYS for 2026

Day 3 of the 58th Loucks Games
After soph Aidan Hopkins (Kellenburg, NY) threw down a 4:15.62 to win the 2nd section of the Loucks Mile the seeded section could not mess around too much. 2nd behind Hopkins was another soph Ethan Fischer (Bishop Guertin, NH) who ran 4:16.33 after his sub 9:00 3200 the night before. The two sophs placed 8th & 9th overall out of the 44 total runners.

The grils mile was a reply of yesterday's 800 with Stella Blanchard(The Wilberforce School, NJ) hold off Adriana Pettinelli (Scarsdale, NY) for the 4:48.11-4:48.44 win. A state #2 for both runners
