Happy Mother’s Day! I got blessed with the best. Moms have a special way of loving and teaching that only comes from motherhood. Graciously loving no matter what. Making life more beautiful, fun, and easy. Knowing my mom’s got my back is a huge force that keeps me going. How beautiful. I truly think mothers are the most influential and powerful people who walk the earth. There’s so many stories I could share but this one seems fitting today. Sometime back in that day, I signed up for football. Yes me signing up for football at a small privet school. At the time I went to a privet school but later finished high school at a local public school. But that’s beside the point. Anyways— I felt the pressure as a guy to sign up for football because that’s just what you did. Well, I didn’t have to ever say it, but I was actually a little intimidated to be on the team 😅. And my mom knew it. It didn’t have to be said. She just knew that it made me uncomfortable. She showed up to every single practice and pulled her camping chair out of the back of the minivan and would watch every practice. She didn’t have to do that but she did anyways. She always wanted to protect me and still does to this day. She does that. I don’t have to say anything she just knows. And as worried or intimidated or whatever I felt during that year of football, I could always look over and see my mom and know everything was going to be OK. What a blessing moms are to us! I love you mom, Happy Mother’s Day!
