So I’ve been doing some spring cleaning and going through some album cuts.. A sides instead of the usual B sides, disco 12s / classics I’ve rediscovered. My bags are packed and I’m ready to head back to my happy place in Montreal @sans_soleil_mtl this FRIDAY. Scenes from last January… Excited to play there again, start to finish.

Had the best time @standardtime.to a couple weeks back! Big thanks to @soundslikeroam for having me go all in on the jazz tip and @astral_riddims absolutely smashed it!! We need more live band x DJ nights like that. I’ll be back this Saturday at @theshopstandardtime.to but this time selling records alongside some of my fav dealers / collectors… pretty sure I’ll leave with more records. This Saturday. A night at Standard Time roaming through soulful genres with the world-renowned @antalheitlager To mark his rare appearance in Toronto, we’ve programmed the entire night as a musical journey – an ode to what he’s known for best, but with live instrumentation woven throughout. As the owner of legendary Amsterdam record shop & label Rush Hour, and a staple headliner at festivals like Dekmantel, Rainbow Disco Club, and GALA, Antal is one of the most respected DJs on the global circuit. His sets effortlessly move through Chicago and Detroit-influenced house & techno, rare Afro funk, forgotten disco, zouk, and beyond – pulling sounds from all corners of the world. You never know which direction he’ll take it, and that’s what makes his performances so exhilarating each time. It always feels fresh, electric, and ‘very Antal’. Astral Riddims, a five-piece spiritual jazz band, will act as the connective thread between DJs throughout the night. Resetting the room, giving dancers space to breathe, and guiding the night forward. roam DJs kick off the evening and later, local icon John Kong, founder of Do Right Music, takes things up a notch setting the stage for Antal at peak time. Antal in Toronto feels like a milestone for our community – something we’re still in disbelief about. We created roam with this very mission: build the nights we’ve always fantasized about experiencing in our city. Nights beyond one artist or genre. Nights where top local musicians and DJs share the stage with the world-class selectors we rarely get exposed to. First gig of 2026 and I’m back in Montreal at my favourite spot @sans_soleil_mtl this Sat Jan 10. Few rooms really get the hi-fi thing right, and Sanso has always been top of my list. I’ll be playing solo from start to finish.. moving through jazz, disco, house and everything in between for anyone up for the ride. Swipe for scenes from exactly two years ago. Join me this Friday Dec 19 at ROM After Dark, the final session of the year. I’ll be spinning at the C5 lounge on the top level with city views, alongside themed rooms and performers throughout the building for the full museum after dark experience. 19+

Back this Friday @littlejerryto and bringing my homie Aki @cosmosrecords along. Many moons ago we held down weeklies on College St… the few spots where we could mix disco & house next to jazz & Latin. Most clubs didn’t embrace “open format” back then (maybe except for Roxy Blu), and many still don’t. Big thanks to @___j_o_d_i_e___ for inviting us back on the strip and letting us run some of our favourite records through Jerry’s system. Intimate space = limited capacity so come early.
