1–4pm — SOIL COUNTRY: Walk & Talk / Community Service
Join us along the Armijo ditch for a hands-on conversation about local farming, land stewardship, and conscious ecological care. We’ll be clearing the path, picking up trash, and making space for the land to breathe again.
5:30/6–8pm — SOUL COUNTRY Listening Party
After the walk, come settle in for the first shared listen of Soul Country — the upcoming album. A slow evening with friends, music, and maybe even a communal stone soup if folks are into it.

Soul Country has been a long journey — five years getting shipwrecked, wandering in the desert, cleaning out swimming pools, dreaming of home… ahh… home… and singing myself afloat. And yet, now that it’s finally finished, it’s only just beginning.
This is the mystery of Soul Country: it isn’t found on any map, but in a space beyond borders — social, economic, or otherwise. The true Soul Country is the all-encompassing unity within us, here and now. It is the source of eternal joy, the field of unending love where all things dissolve into one.
I can tell you about it, I can point you toward it — but only you can choose to live here. My hope is that you’ll join me.

i’m so happy to share an update on SOUL COUNTRY, my upcoming double-length album. as of today, the mixes are complete and the record is being mastered. this project has been five years in the making — writing, recording, and shaping these songs until they felt just right. this is an album about inner transformation and hard-earned faith, for anyone taking the long lonesome road to self-discovery. strangely, it feels even more meaningful now than when i first wrote it. i cannot wait to share it with you.
thanks to your generosity, i was able to pay john wall, who not only recorded the album but co-produced it with me at his wall of sound studio (@wallofsoundstudio.live ). john brought incredible care and brilliance to every detail, working with me over many long nights — i truly couldn’t have made this record without him. thank you john!
we’re now just $450 away from finishing the mastering! after that, if we can raise another $3000, we’ll be able to press soul country on vinyl. most importantly, i just want to get these songs into your ears — and every bit of support brings us closer. everyone who donates will receive a collection of related b-sides and demos recorded over the years.
