Which look do you prefer? Coming back to filmmaking after having a baby has been interesting… I was feeling a bit rusty so doing these comparisons lately has been getting me in a really good headspace to create again. Fun little comparison… Sony FX3 in S-Cinetone. ZV-E10 and ZV-1 in the Movie picture profile. Which one do you prefer? The FX-3, ZV-E10, or ZV-1? I matched exposure in post but did not do any heavy color work. I just wanted to see how good these cameras look straight out of camera. The zv-e10 had some autofocus issues but I’m pretty sure I left “product display” mode on 🤦‍♂️ Do you have a favorite? #fx3 #zve10 #zv1 #sony

But what makes it “cinematic”? By moving the light off to the side, you create shadows on one side of the face and highlights on the other, instead of flat, even light. That contrast helps shape the face, adds depth, separates you from the background. Inspo: @photoknack.in
