It’s a family owned home, rooted in legacy based in Indiana.
1801 is where my family’s story was tested, broken, and rebuilt.
Twenty years ago, on Christmas morning in 2005, while we were opening presents, our home caught on fire. In an instant, everything changed. What we learned in that moment stayed with us forever — beauty, like life, is not about perfection. It’s about endurance.
In the years that followed, my mother Bertha Smith is the foundation of our family. She raised me and my little brother with strength, discipline, and grace. She showed us what it meant to rebuild — not just a home, but confidence and belief in what’s still possible.
In 2014, after one of the hardest seasons of my life, I rebuilt House 1801 so my mother could return to the home she worked so hard to pay for — and finally be at peace within its walls.
1801 Beauty was born from that restoration.
This brand reflects how I see beauty: real, nuanced, and honest.
Beauty has freckles.
Beauty has thinning edges.
Beauty has brows, beards, mustaches, and hairlines that evolve with time.
