Documentation of the Shannon protest 12th Oct 2024, with a few notes below. State media has shown a clear bias with their zionist rhetoric but more over they are choosing not to report on the interests of the very people that support their existence. Its worth mentioning that this wee video would have been released sooner had my car not been targeted and impounded at Shannon by the Garda Public Order Unit in the presence of the special branch in a clear act of repression. Prior to the protest they chose to scan my plate in an obvious act of repression to seize my car with no leeway. They had stated that I had no insurance and that they would seize the car even though under such circumstances the Garda have the power to give 10 days to produce relevant documents. This was a fault on the behalf of the insurance company who have since acknowledged their mistake and sent the appropriate documents to produce at a Garda station in order to avoid any further legal action by the state. Garda impounding the car cost me a few hundred quid and that was their intent, to hinder my action and deter me with financial burden. This shows how the state and media are acting together to repress the voices of the majority. Nonetheless we managed to produce this video with minor and justified delays. I hope this video can act as guide for those seeking to understand and a show of support to those who need it. Glory to martyrs, Victory to the Resistance. Film, edit & sound - 🤝 Directed by @evan__kelly & myself

A video for Lisa O Neill’s ‘Homeless in the Thousands’ filmed this time last year and it was released in January 2025 but I am chronically bad at sharing work. Now feels appropriate to share this given the dark days, wild weather conditions and absolutely patronising tone deaf videos coming from the government about moving back in with parents. This is more of a documentation of the times rather than a music video to support Lisa’s expression and with that, trying to highlight the imbalance without exploitation , distraction or sensationalism became integral. On a personal note this was probably the most difficult brief I have ever gotten combining sensitivity and respect for the subject matter of Lisa’s song and the dystopian problem we have.
