Gracie would never tell anyone this, in fact I’m not sure if she even told me - I found out from someone else. So, I must brag for her for a moment… 10 yrs ago today she danced in a ballet while the legendary Tom Harrell played Jazz on stage. Later in the ballet she performed a duet with Michelle Wiles, and New York Times dance critic Gia Kourlas said this:
“…the heart of the work is the pairing of Ms. Wiles and Gracie Huber, a dancer of subtle fearlessness who seems to push past her own boundaries with every step she takes. In the dance’s final moment, she joins Mr. Figg on his piano bench and, after the last note is played, exhales deeply. It’s a satisfying touch, telling us how hard dancing is — especially when it looks easy.”

Honestly it was such a cool Ballet filled with world class artists.

Ocean Elizabeth Holway. Stole my birthday. Cliche, but… the amount of love I have for her is hard for me to make sense of. As beautiful and sweet as her mother. How lucky is she to have gracie as a mom. How blessed am I. Stoked.
