Yesterday, I delivered my Budget reply in Parliament.
The 2026/27 State Budget continues our Labor Government's commitment to use the levers available to us to improve the lives of people in communities like ours.

I spoke in Parliament today about the Inquiry into fraud and corruption control in local government, and issues surrounding Wyndham City Council.
I welcome the appointment of independent monitors at Wyndham Council, and trust this process will restore confidence in council governance.
The Member for Kew just had a chance to set out how the Liberals would support the western suburbs.
She neglected to mention us even once.
The only plans for our community the Liberals have is to remove carriages from Wyndham Vale services, and "fast-track" more housing without any infrastructure plan.
Only the Labor Government is on the side of folks in the west — we're boosting capacity on the Wyndham Vale line, investing in our schools and hospital, building more local roads, and delivering cost of living relief.
With this year's Budget, Labor is making things easier, safer, and more affordable, for working families here in the Werribee electorate.
