À la Tour du Fantastique, vous pourrez admirer de nombreux dessins et peintures de John Howe, qui évoque sa manière de rendre crédible une armure, même dans un monde imaginaire.
L’exposition permet également de découvrir l’armure qu’il porte lors de reconstitutions historiques, afin d’en étudier plus précisément le maniement.

At the Tour du Fantastique, you can admire numerous drawings and paintings by John Howe, who explains how he makes armour look realistic, even in an imaginary world.
The exhibition also offers a chance to see the armour he wears during historical re-enactments, enabling him to study its handling in greater detail.

Happy Birthday Samwise Gamgee!
Born on 6 April in the year 1380 (by Shire-reckoning), as a member of the Company of the Ring, Sam was the only one who supported Frodo all the way to Mount Doom. He fathered 13 children, including Elanor, and was Mayor of the Shire for 49 years. After the death of his wife Rosie, he sailed West where he presumably was reunited with Frodo.
For many, Sam is the true hero of the story.
