Over the past three months, I quietly stepped into something new.
I joined an acting training program at
@jokershowreel
Two months of sessions, exercises, body work, voice drills, breaking comfort zones, learning and unlearning many things
- followed by One month of rehearsals and improvisations.
It was exciting.
It pushed me.
It was deeply rewarding.
And it all led to my first stage performance.🎭
We staged #EeshwaranArrestil by N. N. Pillai, and I had the chance to play the character of the Devil 😈 (not the typical one, but a quirky and playful) who is constantly trying to make peace with God (who happens to be his twin brother in the play).
From rehearsals to the stage lights✨, maintaining energy throughout, and finally hearing the applause at the end👏
- it was an experience that I’ll carry with me for a long time.
It wasn’t perfect, but was worth every bit of the effort we put into it.
This was my first step from designing stories to stepping inside one. 💻➡️🎭
