Over the summer, a small group of us made a short film about @restaurant_pearlmorissette . Since opening eight years ago, Daniel, Eric, Deirdre, Shane and the rest of the RPM team has been on a singular mission that is equal parts experimental gardening, regenerative farming, nurturing talent, and uncovering new levels of deliciousness from Canadian ingredients.
I have been a fortunate observer of RPM’s growth over the years, and there is an astounding level of thought that goes into each aspect of the restaurant, and they wanted a similar approach to the film - to tell their story in a manner that reflects what it feels like to drive down their gravel road for the first time, not knowing what to expect from the big black barn in the distance.
