Not everyday you get to say that @kanderandebbofficial and @lin_manuel built a song around you. 3 years ago today we opened this love letter to NY. So many feelings. So many lessons learned. So much community gained. Forever grateful for this chapter.
Had to take some time and sit with this night. While it was a success and I’m so grateful for @amberiman_@mrawayne@robertearlejones@lamarrichardson_ and @lctheater for entertaining my idea and getting this off the ground… this night brought up a lot of feelings that I honestly wasn’t prepared for.
So many unfinished conversations. Sometimes I feel like I didn’t even get the opportunity to really know my own brother. I’m already a decade older than you were allowed to be and that just crushes me.
I have to continue to remind myself that grief is not linear. If grief is present that means I am capable of loving someone and that truly is the greatest gift.
I still think about you and that last promise you made saying you’d teach me the drums. If you wanna still learn piano just hit me up in my dreams we can make it happen lol

Never was the type to listen to show tunes. Except when it came to the OG cast recording. Now I’m on the revival with people I studied in high school. Life really be crazy sometimes.
Lead a Broadway show as Coalhouse Walker Jr✅
Crazy to think I was 15 when this dream was realized. 15 Years Later it came true. To lead a Broadway show in THIS role is a huge feat. To be a leader period is a feat. But tbh It was so seemless and reminded me I’m exactly where tf I need to be. Telling stories I care about with ppl who inspire me.
I will cherish this moment forever. Today I celebrate the hard work I put forth to make this happen. Tomorrow I get back to work and figure out how to make this shit even better. Just the beginning.
