Five years ago today, INIT!ATION was released into the world! A movie that started as an idea between friends somehow became something real. Through setbacks, chaos, delays, and a release during one of the strangest moments imaginable, it still found its audience. From script to screen… THE MANNEQUIN (Horror | Feature) Since our @usccinema days, John Berardo and I have been close friends and collaborators. One thing has remained true to this day: John always comes prepared. Our prep process typically involves deep blocking and shot list meetings, from which John will hand draw detailed storyboards for the entire film. These are invaluable tools during production, particularly on a film like this, where we had only 12 days to shoot. So, thorough prep was mandatory. Thankfully, we had an amazing team of new and old collaborators that all rose to the occasion.
