Got to spend an hour last night in the company of Pat Carey chatting about the new How I Became A Wave album and about music & life. Could have chatted to him for the night! He is a dude. Pat also chose three acts to highlight on the show that he is a fan of (Sarah Hickey, Hánt and Niamh Regan).

The self-titled debut album from How I Became A Wave is a beautiful collection of songs. Highly recommended listening to this week (if you haven’t already).
How I Became A Wave hits Cork, Dublin, Kinsale and Donegal next month.
There’s a reason why you’ve heard the name BABYRAT being mentioned as one of the best new acts to emerge in the Irish music scene over the last few months.
The Cork band headlined last week’s Tilt #40 in The Button Factory and were AMAZING.
Tilt #40 was supported by @tmie

Loved meeting & chatting to the brilliant @whoissonablue on last week’s Tilt - live from Hard Rock Cafe.
$ona Blu€ and her band (featuring two brand new members) performed three live songs from the new 8-track EP ‘Blu€’s Heartbreak’ and I had great chats with $ona Blu€ about her music & life.
Thanks to the Hard Rock staff for their great hospitality and friendship.

$ona Blu€ is a very talented soul/RnB artist who has just released a wonderful debut 8 track EP called ‘BLU€’s Heartbreak’.
Saol is the moniker of musician Zoë Gough (formerly of the band Dreaming Of Jupiter). Saol released three great singles last year and also performed at Tilt #31 in The Button Factory. Saol recently signed to @spitballmgmt
Been a big fan of Cable Boy’s music since day one so was an honour to interview the band the weekend of the release of their debut album. ‘Forever’ is a wonderful debut release - go check it out if you haven’t already!

Really enjoyed meeting and chatting to the lads from Kippax on the last live Tilt show from Hard Rock Cafe. The 4-piece performed three live songs and I chatted to Ewan (the band’s guitarist) about the band’s origin; their career so far; and their view of the Irish music scene.
