I’m going to be processing these past two weeks at @haystack_school for some time. The overflowing love, queer kinship, generosity, and overall hilarity in addition to the expected creativity was staggering and important.
Thank you @johnpaulmorabito for the invitation, for your mentorship, and for initiating this workshop that brought orbiting queer bodies down to this special place of making and fellowship. Thank you to the staff, faculty, fellow assistants, and participants for two weeks of incredible community.
I’m feeling incredibly grateful and fortunate to announce that I am the inaugural Fiber Fellow at Colorado College. I’m looking forward to teaching and making work out of the Fiber Studio in the Arts & Crafts Program over the coming four months!
Today was the first day of class, and I’m feeling energized. Warps are wound and ready to go on the looms in the morning.

Goodnight Moon Baby Blanket
Converted Goodnight Moon text to numbers and turned the sequence into a shadow weave to mimic the alternation of full color and black and white page spreads from the book.
