I can’t say I remember the last trophy I’ve won, but after 15 years of being lucky enough to make a living in the music business, it’s quite the honour to receive this award. I’ve been around the world many, many times touring and have spent countless hours working with some of the best musicians, engineers and technicians around and have learned a great deal along the way from all of them. This historical piece of hardware for me symbolizes all the good things behind, and all the good things ahead. It’s also a reminder not to be afraid to bet on yourself once in a while even when it can seem like a long shot.
