Ganzjährig findet in unseren Räumen die Herstellung, Inszenierung und Ausstellung von Kunst aus dem Künstler*innennetzwerk rund um das Walhalla im EXIL statt. Mit der regelmäßigen KUNSTKNEIPE feiern wir die neuen Einfälle, Malereien, Installationen, Skizzen und Fotografien mit einer Gruppenausstellung. Dieses Jahr mit an Board sind:

Less than one month away in Wiesbaden:
SPHEARES examines the ontology of hearing as a sensor of alternative realities, as a catalyst of physical action. Hearing as a tool for perceiving the invisible beyond the merely acoustic, hearing as a research framework as well as a political and philosophical proposal.
In a world dominated by the violence of the immediate image, the weight of verbal statements and opinions, or that which is semantically or physically tangible and thus manifests what we perceive as reality, hearing can be seen as a transformative state that pushes the boundaries of the familiar and known. In contrast to purposeful, relational listening, hearing is (in close reference to Nancy) a holistic state of consciousness, a sensor of the ephemeral. Between associations with the japanese concept Yutori and principles from Qi Gong, hearing contains the potential to re-sensitise in a world numbed by noise.
SPHEARES is an installative, audiovisual hearing space, welcoming audience to experience this state.
