JOHAN INGER - CHORÉGRAPHE Chorégraphe suédois et directeur artistique de Take Off Dance depuis 2022, Johan Inger développe une écriture chorégraphique profondément narrative, où le mouvement explore avec finesse les relations humaines. Johan Inger fait ses débuts au Nederlands Dans Theater en 1990 en tant que danseur, avant de s’y imposer comme chorégraphe. Ses premières pièces y rencontrent un succès immédiat. En 2003, il prend la direction du Cullberg Ballet à Stockholm, où il signe de nombreuses créations et affirme son univers. Depuis, Johan Inger mène une carrière de chorégraphe indépendant et collabore avec de nombreuses compagnies internationales. Récompensé à plusieurs reprises, notamment par le Benois de la Danse et le Danza & Danza Award, il impose sa signature unique sur la scène chorégraphique contemporaine. ‘Become’, Johan Inger ROM, Range of Motion Johan Inger se formó en la Real Escuela Sueca de Ballet y continuó sus estudios en la National Ballet School de Canadá. En 1990 ingresó en el prestigioso Netherlands Dans Theater (NDT), bajo la dirección de Jiří Kylián. Durante su etapa como bailarín en NDT desarrolló una estrecha colaboración con Kylián y otros destacados creadores, experiencia que marcó decisivamente su desarrollo artístico. A lo largo de su trayectoria, Johan Inger ha creado obras para algunas de las compañías más prestigiosas del mundo. Su obra se distingue por una profunda dimensión humana, una marcada sensibilidad teatral y un lenguaje coreográfico dinámico que combina fisicalidad, musicalidad y narrativa contemporánea. Entre sus creaciones más destacadas se encuentran ‘Walking Mad’, ‘Rain Dogs’, ‘Bliss’ y ‘Carmen’. Esta última creada para la Compañía Nacional de Danza, recibió el prestigioso Premio Benois de la Danse a la mejor coreografía en 2015. ‘Become’ es una transformación silenciosa, que no grita, pero que deja huella en cada movimiento. Johan Inger, coreógrafo y director sueco y una de las voces más influyentes de la danza contemporánea europea, nos presenta “Become”, obra de gran sensibilidad sostenida por la premisa de soltar para volver a empezar. “A través del cuerpo, exploramos lo que se cae, lo que se rompe, lo que florece después. Cada paso es una memoria, cada caída, una liberación. Porque para seguir, a veces hay que dejar de ser”. En palabras de Johan “vemos un individualismo solitario que, poco a poco, va generando una comunidad y eso es Become” En esta entrevista, Johan nos habla sobre el origen de la pieza y de la esencia que la atraviesa.
