Sentimental Saturday 🤍 The day we hosted Rick Stein’s 2 sons, Charlie & Jack Stein… and chaos (the good kind) followed. From cooking together to sharing a table in a half-built restaurant, it was one of those days you wish you could bottle. Of course, we couldn’t resist a little Klein Roosboom humour… A silver cloche (to reveal our new restaurant’s signature dish😉🤣) lifted with great anticipation… only to reveal baked beans and a tiny spoon. Expectations vs reality at its finest. Add in vineyard adventures, a wheelbarrow race between the De Villiers brothers and the Stein brothers (results respectfully undisclosed to protect certain British reputations 😉), and plenty of laughter — and you’ve got a memory we won’t soon forget.
