I did a talk for U3A in Bridlington this morning about being a dame and where all of the pantomime genre started. I met the most beautiful lady. Dany- 80 years old. She brought in all her autographs that’s she’d collected during her career as a wardrobe mistress. What a joy! I then went for lunch with Anita Spurr - 2nd wardrobe misstress of the day.

There’s nothing like a luxurious bubble bath after a panto contract. The cast and crew of Bridlington Panto were a joy to be with. My costume elves are sweating over a hot twin tub while I use my matching bidet. Thanks to everyone who made it over to the Bridlington Spa. And thanks to everyone there who looked after us so well x
