Was lucky enough to get away on a little baby moon this week with this beautiful mama of three and mama to be. I can’t say enough about how lucky me, Charlie, will, Stevie and player to be named later are to have her in our lives. We love you SM. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️
Tremendously proud and appreciative of both these amazing casts. Eleven years ago @emailwiseman and I wrote a pilot called Eternally Yours, a show about two vampires in an interminable marriage that was loosely inspired by our long running writing partnership. It didn’t get made, but because of that script, a few years later CBS asked us to adapt another supernatural comedy called Ghosts. This week we celebrated both shows getting full season orders. And it all happened because I found Wiseman’s incessant throat clearing intolerable. Feeling very grateful, though still annoyed by the throat clearing.
We came, we saw, we lost (but at least the Steelers won!). Thank you @criticschoice for recognizing @ghostscbs with four nominations! It was a thrill to be there!
Happy birthday, my love! And Happy Tessember! You’re the best wife and the best mom, and I couldn’t imagine life without you. I love our growing family and I can’t wait for all the adventures ahead, including all our 5:30 dinner reservations. ❤️
I think this is supposed to be a play off of “ready, set, snap!” Which, to be fair, isn’t something they ever really say in football. Maybe “ready, set, hike.” But that wouldn’t rhyme with nap. Anyway, flawed joke, perfect baby. Go, Steelers! Go, Stevie!
We have a little girl! Stevie Mae Port, named for my dad Steve and Tessa’s dad Mark. She’s truly a blessing and we feel so lucky. ❤️ Tessa was a rock star and I don’t even mind that someone sent her a bell for her to ring for service because she deserves it, even though I think the bell was probably meant as a bit!
