She is most recognized for her roles in critically acclaimed films like Poshter Boyz (2014) and major television series such as Ek Mahanayak – Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. She gained widespread popularity for playing Bhimabai Sakpal Ambedkar (B.R. Ambedkar’s mother) in the Hindi serial Ek Mahanayak – Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Her other notable TV credits include Doosri Maa and the Marathi hit Ka Re Durava. In Hindi cinema, she appeared in the blockbuster Drishyam 2 (2022) as ASI Jenny Thomas. Her Marathi filmography includes Zenda (2009), Hawaa Hawaai (2014), and Farzand (2018). She made her debut as a producer with the Marathi short film Ukali (2016). She began her acting career in 2000 with the Marathi stage drama Kshan Ek Pure. She married writer-actor Omkar Kulkarni in an intimate ceremony in August 2022.
