A few years ago I was cast in this gem of an indie film. We shot on a mountaintop in Utah in the middle of the night for the better part of three weeks. Park City is even more beautiful than the pictures, and it was a dream to explore it with this dynamite cast, crew and a bear named Tag.

Ok, I’ll play…a year or tectonic shifts in my life. I became a father. I became a marathoner. I became a killer, a suspected killer (but not the guy), a serial killer…and a best friend on a little pilot called “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Finally, I was surrounded by the folks I love most at the year’s closing.

This great man made so many films that shaped pieces of my childhood. I had the great fortune of meeting him once…though too brief to thank him for the indescribable bliss i had wearing out VHS tapes of The Princess Bride, Stand By Me, A Few Good Men, and so many others. He was and will always be a hero.
