Part I - l'océan comme méthode
This past week, I took part in a workshop at the Beaux-arts School in Saint Naizaire, with the artist Elvia Teotski, whose work is really inspiring! It was part of a larger project L'Océane Comme Méthode. And this week I made an unwearable coat from a secondhand blanket. Instead of cutting the blanket, I used hand stitching to form the coat shape and the organic texture.
What a great experience making costumes and props for this Reparation Nation🤩 thanks everyone for making it awesome🤎🌈

Another work from this past year at art school. I volunteer at a food distribution centre for students and I've been collecting the plastic woven sacks to patch work together. Starting to explore migration in a globalised post-colonial society.
At school we were given a brief titled <<Le Repas>> The Meal. And I decided to make a food gedrog. Thanks to @parkhankyul who "dressed" me and @j.e.s.s.donaldson who took these awesome photos.
