Hey All, my Art is coming down at the end of this month at JP Licks in Coolidge in Corner @jplicks , If anyone would like to purchase a piece of Art I’m happy to meet you there for Coffee and Perform some Magic for YOU!! At the end of this year I’m increasing my prices for Art as things have been snowballing forward this year and my intention is to add more meaning and value and magic into my ART!!!! So if you ever wanted to collect and Original MUHACHI Now is the TIME!!!!
So EXCITED to be presenting my HYPERDOOR THEORY at my first Physics Conference!! I showed my idea to Thomas Banchoff who was a consultant for Salvador Dali and he told me it was “Nice Work.” It is a new way to visualize a Hypercube without Distortion which was thought to be impossible!! Magicians believe that the impossible is POSSIBLE!!! And thus the Hyperdoor Theory was formed!! I finally figured out how to scale the idea down to flatland. Artist are the closest thing to a Shaman today, visionaries that see into other worlds and bring it back for the Community!!This is gonna be OTHERWORLDLY!!!!!! ART is MAGIC!!!
NEWS - Hey all, here are some recent Fingerboards I created as impossible objects, I have always loved this optical illusion and how it creates an interesting Art Piece, when I was offered a Polly Thayer Starr Artist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum I did a workshop with the public on how to make these as a Magical Art Sculpture!! This week I’m excited to be performing Magic at a private Party, in the third week of May I have a magazine feature coming out about my Art, and I Just found out one of my pieces of Art will be displayed at The Boston Public Market in July!!! Also in July I just got accepted into a Physics Conference to share my theory on how to visualize a Hypercube!!! It’s been a busy year already, and most of my energy is going into The Ghost Show which I hope to perform a rough draft for family and friends in October!! Lastly I’m excited because I just registered for my first ever Master Class with Jeff McBride at the McBride Magic & Mystery School in Las Vegas!!! My experience as a performer has been a reclusive road, Everyone shows up to your first art show, but after show 500 it’s a different audience, Thanks to the Few Good Friends I have out there, If you go long term like I have for 30 years of non stop effort, showing people that you are trying, failing forward fast, over exposed, your friends and family won’t show up anymore, your likes will disappear, and it’s just you and your medium, and that is no one’s fault, we have our own lives and kids, we can only give so much, I hardly get off the couch for peoples shows, not a judgement, just the reality, and the few friends I still have in my life mean everything to me!!! The ones who actually support my dreams!! Thanks Abe Dubin, Ralph Bakshi, Jeff McBride - Much Love And much Love to the friends I don’t have!!! These days I’m so grateful to be with Ashley, have coffee, and watch the birds!!! That’s all I need, well also Art!!!!
Getting this Tree Sparrow plush pillow from Japan was quite the treasure hunt, it was almost impossible to find and thanks to some good friends I was able to get it!!! It’s so cool, and even has a spot for a hot water bottle, it’s so soft!!!
I absolutely LOVE this quote by RALPH BAKSHI - it inspires me that there are other styles of Magic beyond Vegas Magic (which is great) but there is room for so much more, I’m excited to see where ART & MAGIC lead me, as Eugene Burger often said: “THE HOUSE OF MAGIC HAS MANY ROOMS.” So at this stage of my life I have found that I’m in the ART ROOM!!!
