As you step beautifully into your 35th year (DAMN), I want you to know this first and always: I am with you in every way imaginable. The way you move through the world changes people. Not loudly. Not forcefully. But intentionally and warmly. You lead with love in a world that keeps trying to strip it out of every space it touches, and somehow you refuse to let that happen.
You once taught me that how we impact people matters more than what we intend. And you’re right. But the truth is, your intention is exactly what makes you so rare. You wake up wanting things to be better, people better, moments better, spaces safer. That’s who you are at your core. That’s why you do what you do. Not just because you’re brilliant, but because your heart demands that healing exists.
Most importantly, remember this. Nothing about you, your path, or this moment is accidental. We serve an intentional God. There are no mistakes here. No coincidences. Only purpose.

The day I became engaged to the love of my life! A year of engagement bliss 🥰 I will never forget this day and am forever grateful that I could share it with those who have nourished and supported us individually, and as a couple, from the start of our relationship. This year our love has grown deeper than I could have ever dreamed. You make all my anxiety dissipate; you are my lighthouse. Joseph, your love and spirit have expanded the capacity of my heart; you help me to love you, my loved ones, and the world more fully. As an anxious girlie, agreeing to embark on this lifelong journey as your partner, and future wife, was the easiest decision I have ever made. I love you 🩷

Words pale in comparison to the love that was shared amongst our family this weekend. 07/08/23 I asked the love of my life @maandapandaa to marry me. I’ve told you before you have been the constant catalyst of positive change in my life. You make me feel full. For years I had no clue that your heart can literally warm from a person. God has placed you in my life for a reason, I believe that reason to be forever, and I will do everything in my power to protect, love and care for you.
I want to thank @byy.nlv for your vision, your care and presence as our photographer and brother. We love you and appreciate EVERYTHING you did leading up to this event.

Last but not least @blackwellnoor thank you. Mike took the screenshot that amanda sent me (almost four years ago) and made her dreams come true. I could not have asked for a more seamless process, you educated me the diamond process and left me feeling confident about my decisions.
To our village thank you guys for coming and sharing this moment with us. The love was thick in that courtyard guest of the hotel stopped and became apart of the surprise. Once again, thank you, and I love you all.

This was the first time I was shirtless at a pool in at least 15 years not because of lack of opportunity. But I used to run from it, was never comfortable in this body until this last Monday on my 30th birthday. I need y’all to understand the confidence I exude at this point is nothing short of the blessings that God has rained on me in the past year. My brother is a whole RN and is advancing at his hospital at a rapid pace. In a year the only way you niggas will be able to address my future wife is if you put “Dr.” In front of Amanda Parks. My relationship flourished and got easier when we moved in when niggas on the outside told me it might be harder. My mother walked across Morgan’s stage as a graduate at the age of 53. The men I consider my brothers are family men, with wives that protect me and my peace like sisters I never had. They also blessed me with beautiful nieces, nephews and a Godson that means everything to me. During a pandemic, I bet on mySelf, moved 164 miles from home and double my salary without a four year degree. I say all this to say God has moved so efficiently in my life this past year that while I may not be everybody’s cup of tea, I love me. I love me enough to be this comfortable, and it’s gonna be like for awhile. Thank you all for the birthday wishes, I truly appreciate them all.
So thankful to be apart of this beautiful ceremony. Truly the event of a lifetime and I didn’t expect anything less from the both of you. Thank you both and wishing you guys 2 lifetimes of happines #abarryernestwedding
