Had the pleasure of warming up for @murphyslawmusic imprint @lawlessofc this Friday, played a special b2b with @ollinobrothersfr and here are the key take aways! 1. Smaller line ups, with less acts and extended sets are the way forward, it truly gives you as an artist time to fully express yourself and take the crowd on a journey. 2. Playing slower doesn’t necessarily mean less energy. We started at 122 bpm and handed over to the extremely talented @fififortedj at 126. Still experiencing some great crowd reactions to tracks being played at 124 etc. Faster isn’t always better 🤷🏻‍♂️ 3. Intimate shows are more enjoyable as an artist to play personally. I feel a much stronger connection to the crowd and find myself having more fun! Larger shows are great and a fantastic spectacle, but who doesn’t love a dark stripped back intimate one! 🔥 4. The art of the warm up is still extremely important in setting the tone for the entire night and in my opinion an extremely underrated job. I’d love for their to be a resurgence in people getting down early and going to watch the warm up DJs, you never know you might discover your new favourite dj! 5. As an artist it’s the perfect time to experiment. I managed to test my own music throughout the majority of my set, as well as getting to play tracks I usually wouldn’t. This made things super fun for me and took a lot of pressure and stress away. @pulseagency_uk @ryan_mcgahan1 @connordxyle

🌐Artist Announcement- @joefenwick 🌐MGMT/BOOKINGS - [email protected] Leicester based DJ Joe Fenwick started his DJing career 5 years ago in Sheffield and has gone on to play up and down the UK, recently making his debut in Ibiza at the renown underground venue, tantra. Perhaps most well known for playing huge parties in sheffield where he originally built his name, he has gone on to take his brand to his hometown Leicester starting up his own parties under Studio5. Joe has shared line ups with some serious heavy hitters including, Patrick Topping, Sidney Charles, Skream, Sosa, Leon (ITA), Josh baker, Luke Dean, Murphys Law, George Smeddles, Josh Butler, Denis sulta,Ryan Reso, Dxnby, Fer(br), and Robbie Doherty. Starting his production journey 2 years ago, his work has since garnered the support of names such as, Marco Carola, Jamie jones, Murphy’s Law, Salome le chat ,Joella Jackson, Saoirse, Calvin Clarke, Rossi, Mason Collective & more, with plays all around the world from Warehouse Project, UNVRS, Amnesia, Hi ibiza, Music on Amsterdam, Pacha Barcelona and Space Miami. His productions are deeply influenced by old-school sounds, heavy rolling drums, and groove infused basslines along with punchy retro stabs, which are a signature of his music. With recent releases on Murphys Laws highly anticipated imprint, Lawless, an appearance on Rsquareds Tech box records and a track on Ritmo records summer VA to round out 2025. 2026 is looking even stronger, which will go towards helping to solidify his place as a very exciting upcoming producer and one to keep an eye out for. @ryan_mcgahan1 🚀🌐

Friday marks the first big show and the first @studio5_uk back since we lost Mum. Many of you will have actually met mum. In the early days she ran the door and more than likely will have upsold you all fans and had you chatting away for 20 minutes (when you really just wanted to be in the rave 🤣). If she wasn’t running the door she’d be on the dance floor, watching me and my brother play, absolutely loving it front and centre of it all, having it off. I imagine this will be one of the most emotional sets I will ever have to play and it’s going to absolutely kill me to look up and not see my mum, with a big grin in the front row, but I just know she’ll be looking down on me and my brother playing, more than likely beer in hand 🍺.
