🎭 Invisible Me post-show video and photos: What’s singledom like after 60? 🎭
Do women – and men – of a certain mature age stop being seen? When writer Bren Gosling turned 60 himself, it’s a question he decided to explore in comedy-drama Invisible Me.
While the play’s three fictional Londoners – Lynn, Alec and Jack – hail from very different backgrounds, each battles their own insecurities about invisibility, relevance and loneliness as they reach their milestone birthdays.
Over 75 minutes, the characters share their stories in touching, interwoven monologues that build to a night of disco and connection.
For this post-show talk, I was joined by writer Bren Gosling, director Scott LeCrass and stars Tessa Peake-Jones, Kevin N Golding and James Holmes.
Runs until 3 May 2026.

In Bren Gosling's new comedy-drama, directed by Scott Le Crass, sixty is just the beginning…
Lynn’s (Tessa Peake-Jones) sex life more or less expired in 1987. Now she rattles around the house she inherited from her mum.
Jack (James Holmes), a newly widowed and HIV-positive gay man, is hurled back onto the singles scene after 35 years.
And then there’s Alec (Kevin N Golding), divorced, estranged from his grown-up kids, and still convinced he’s the same irresistible punk.
