We were made to move.
To sweat.
To feel our hearts race for reasons other than stress.
In a world built to keep us still, I choose to move.
Not just for muscle.
Not for ego.

Okay.
Sometimes I get the question, why do you work out so much?
How do you work out so much?
And honestly, like, it's different for every person, but there's some general rules, reasons that why I like to work out and why I would always suggest other people to work out.
One is, for me, it just feels good.
I kind of think we were meant to move around.
We weren't meant to be just in one place.
And I spend.
And a lot of people spend a lot of their days, you know, at the office or whatever, sitting in front of a computer, just sitting around.
I think we feel better.
Mentally, physically, or for ment to move.
That's kind of the obvious one, you know.
Two, I obviously have my own bodybuilding goals, right?
So I've put in the work.
That's what I want.
But three, something more relative to everyone is, I think, obviously it pertains.
Working out pertains a lot to our health.
It helps our health a lot.
So what that means, either I'm gonna put the work and the time and the energy in now, or I'm gonna pay it on the back end through doctors, medication of less quality of life.
That's kind of like a little bit of my fear that drives me.
And plus, why couldn't I just put that time in now and feel better now?

Hiked around 3 sisters falls and eagle peak. It was way cooler than I thought it would be. Literally refreshing. I was looking for words to capture it - it's not my strong suit, but then this came to mind.
Next to the ROARING WATERFALL,
It's water crashing on my soul,
Awakening it, shaping it, dislodging it.

I'm beginning to to hear myself for the first time. I can hear me.
Rest in it and it hurts,
Like birth?
Or a butterfly from its cocoon?
Or a baby chick cracking through the egg

I feel the presence and feel called to go only one way - through it. With no reason to trust that there is light on the other side WAITING for me?
What do I need to do? Just keep persistent.
Love the waterfall. Love what it's doing. That's a feeling and a choice.
