One of One. 🌺
A statement coat covered in bold florals, oversized buttons, and delicate florets — designed to turn heads before a word is spoken.
I love creating pieces that feel artistic yet wearable. Pieces with presence. Pieces that don’t follow trends, but stand on their own.
Every detail matters. Every silhouette tells a story.

Behind the seams… for real.
Cutting for precision. Draping for fit. No shortcuts.
I’ve been draping on this same dress form—my dress form—for decades. It’s seen every version of me as a designer.
Some pieces come easy. Some make me stop, step back, and figure it out. That’s part of it.
This jacket started the same way they always do—hands on the fabric, shaping it until it feels right. Then cutting, then building the pattern so it can actually live beyond this one sample.
This is the part people don’t always see. The work before it looks like anything.

From takeoff to touchdown… what a full-circle moment.
Miami, you showed out. From arriving at the Ritz Carlton to stepping into the incredible energy of the EXCELERATEHER Conference—every moment was a reminder of why I do this work.
I had the opportunity to showcase pieces from my collection, connect with longtime clients who continue to believe in and support the vision, and welcome new women into the brand who instantly saw themselves in the designs.
I especially appreciated seeing one of my favorite people, @bethannhardison a true pioneer for so many of us in the fashion and beauty industry, and the star of Invisible Beauty. Moments like that stay with you.
I also value the way we, as designers, show up for one another. Connecting with @sislovespurple and seeing her continue to build her brand was proof of the power in knowing there’s room for all of us to grow and win.
Real talk—this kind of movement… planes, trains, and automobiles… it can catch up with you. I definitely had to grab some cold medicine on my way to my flight home. But even still, I wouldn’t trade these moments.
The conversations, the connections, the growth—it’s all part of building something lasting.
Now back home… safe, sound, and truly thankful. Ready to keep going.

At the @excelerateher Conference, what stood out most wasn’t just the conversations—it was the alignment. Women reconnecting, new connections forming, leaders leading, and others rising in response—energized, inspired, and activated by what’s possible.
@kimblackwellpmm has created more than a gathering—this is proof of the power that exists when women come together with intention to build, lead, and create lasting legacy. There’s space for all of us here, and you can feel it in every exchange.
I’m home now—and what was built in those rooms didn’t stay there. Grateful for the energy, the alignment, and the opportunities already unfolding.

“CitySeries Stop: Santa Monica 🌴”
Our girls trip tradition continues… ✨✈️🍸
This time, we took it to the West Coast — Santa Monica, California — with one mission: another unforgettable dining experience at Hillstone.
From the moment we arrived, it was nothing but beautiful vibes and intentional moments. We enjoyed an amazing brunch at The Penthouse, soaking in stunning ocean views, then took a walk along the iconic Ocean Front Walk (yes, that’s the proper name 😊), feeling the energy of the coastline.
We drove up the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu, toured a breathtaking oceanfront property, and had dinner overlooking the Pacific at Geoffrey’s — an experience that felt like a scene from a movie.
The next day, we stepped into luxury in Beverly Hills, strolling Rodeo Drive and taking it all in before closing out our trip right where it began — Hillstone in Santa Monica.
And what a full-circle moment it was. The General Manager and team showed us so much kindness and hospitality — truly top tier. To top it all off, Dr. Dre was dining right next to us and graciously took a photo with us. Just one of those “you can’t make this up” moments.
Grateful for safe travels, sisterhood, laughter, and creating memories across the country, one city (and one Hillstone) at a time.
Until the next trip… 💫

I was planning to stay in the boutique a little longer today, but something in me just said, "Go ahead and head out." Just as I was about to turn off the lights, I felt this nudge to vacuum the floor. I almost didn’t do it, but I went ahead anyway. It took me about 15 minutes.
Then I locked up and started walking to my car.
As I’m about to get in, I see a man from the neighborhood—you know how you recognize faces you’ve seen around—coming down the street in his wheelchair. He waved at me, I waved back, and then he motioned for me to wait until he got closer.
When he got to me, he told me I hadn’t seen him because he’d had some of his toes amputated due to frostbite. As he was talking, he made a gesture like he was eating and said he hadn’t had anything to eat in a couple of days.
I said, “Hold on, let me see what I have.” I checked my bag, pulled out the little cash I had, and gave it to him. I told him, “Please go get yourself something to eat.” He looked at me and said, “Thank you.”
I got in my car… and I just started crying.
Because just a few days ago, on April 1st, I told myself I was going 30 days with no complaining.
And in that moment, I was reminded why.
Here I am, going through my day, thinking about my own stuff… and then I’m face-to-face with someone who has every reason to complain, yet he’s out here pushing forward, doing the best he can with what he has.
That hit me.
It humbled me.
It reminded me just how blessed I really am.
And I couldn’t ignore it… that small moment of delay, that 15 minutes I almost skipped, was right on time.
"No complaining. Just gratitude... and a reminder that you never know when God is using you to be the blessing someone prayed for. Today, that reminder was for me."

Opening Day energy, downtown style!
Throwing it back while celebrating everything that makes this moment special, from the excitement downtown to the power of collaboration and creativity. I’m proud to be wearing a piece from the @orioles x @jodydavisdesigns collab, a great example of how style, community, and purpose work together for Baltimore.
Here’s to a strong season, vibrant partnerships, and continuing to celebrate the women helping shape it all.
