We have a new member of the family moving in this week. The Halloween Fairy is coming to stay with us for the rest of spooky season.
Making this for Billie has been sooo fun. How cute are things when they are tiny. It all started when I saw the basket in The Charity Shop and as we have fairy's that come for Christmas, I thought why not Halloween too!

Making a leprechaun trap was such a lovely spring craft to do with your kiddos. The magic this morning was so cute. I just love being a mum.
Feel its important to add that the only thing I purchased new for this was the coins (which I will keep and reuse for however many years we do this) everything else was things we already had. Even the balloons were given to me from the local pub! I really try hard not to over consume and buy a load of stuff when doing things like this!
Also have been teaching Billie about Ireland (where her Grandma is from) and as she gets older we will learn about its history (and not just leprechauns!) But for now she has gone to preschool with green ribbons in her hair and very excited to tell everyone that we didn't catch a leprechaun but he did leave some choc choc.

At the start of the year we went to India on a big adventure as a family, being the nostalgic mum I am i took so many different cameras with me to capture the magic of our dream family holiday.
These are the ones from my disposable camera (some taken by my 4 year old) I can't tell you how obsessed with these I am.
They remind me of old family holiday photos from my childhood! I can't recommend a little disposable camera enough if you want to create some photos that look like they are straight from the 90s!

I love having books all around the house, making them easy to reach for, and very much a part of our daily life.
Really want my love of books to be passed down to my children. A love of reading is such a gift to give your kids.

A cosy afternoon at home with my 2 year old and my 4 year old. My days seem to have a similar vibe. Crafting (this fossil craft was so goooood) den making and reading lots of books. I also sometimes do an early bath time if I'm running out of ideas (and energy!) to keep them busy!
