You guys know I love the crows, but I drew these sparrows at a time when they were visiting me on repeat. It was then that I realized how impressive they are. Compared to the crow they seem small and unimpressive, but only individually. Sparrows know that their power comes from working united.
They flock together for many reasons: to gather resources like food more efficiently, to utilize diverse skills and rapid communication for problem solving, to increase safety by keeping many eyes out for danger, and when necessary, they gang together to protect themselves and their nests from predators.
So while birds of prey obviously hold more physical strength, even one as mighty as an eagle will be forced to retreat when sparrows mob against them.⚡️👐⚡️

I tried to make an end of the Year post yesterday but in true 2025 fashion, it disappeared right as I finished it up. That’s fine tho. It was a shitty year. Emotionally, physically, mentally - it was one that tested my limits repeatedly and relentlessly.
But I’m here, flipping the calendar with excitement. I always love a fresh start, but I have an extra good feeling about this one. I’m stepping into 2026 with the fire at my back and visions of sunny skies ahead.
