new years eve ! i just wanted to say thank you for such an amazing year this year. i hosted my first ever event Funky Folk Punk Friday in march, i got to host my Kreepy Krampus Christmas this december, ive been mc’ing jam nights, ive gotten to play some really amazing shows, made some amazing friends, and even got to meet some artists ive been a fan of and it felt so full circle! and have seen the world a little this year. what a whirlwind of a year and heres to 2026!
i had a wonderful time playing and hangin out at @shaunadeancokeland ‘s birthday celebration show under the freeway! @distresseddoll@folkfaceofficial@porkboii also played and were absolutely amazing! i also jus had to put pics from last jam night and general life atm :) i love my friends so much i love being young i love being alive and i never want it to stop
im about to be 21 so i feel like making a little recap on being 20
20 has been a rollercoaster for me! i had the honor of playing my first gig of the year just days after my birthday, with the AMAZINGLY talented moonbandits and shauna dean cokeland 😭 i will absolutely never ever be over that. i got to play the FINAL show at harvard street music before it sadly closed (but @shopmusicmania is opening pretty soon so no need to be sad), i got to meet so many interesting and cool people, and reconnect with old friends. i went to so many cool raves with my little rave buddy corey, so many jam nights getting to play songs and then become a volunteer to it, an event ive been going to for years now, hosting my very own show. Funky Folk Punk Friday genuinely is a huge highlight of not just the year but my life. seeing so many people willing to gather, sing, dance, and have joy especially in times like these means absolutely everything to me. ive been creating so much music this year, and im gearing up for the afterparty soon ;)
but seriously this year has been such a good year for self discovery and creation… inbetween trying moonshine and exploring the mountains and getting stoned at the laundromat. its been absolutely insane being 20, and being “kate” has been absolutely amazing this year

its been a HELL of a year. i released my ep villain complex, a single, done some really cool shows, met some really cool people, and have done some really cool shit. music has been central to my year i mean shit i got to play harvard street musics final show, such a fucking honor! i got to rock out at birdcage comics :,) i got to play with SHAUNA DEAN COKELAND. ill never get over that EVER. thank you so much again kale for that LMFAO this year has been fucking INSANE for only being my first taking my music at all seriously, its only up from here (i hope) and im excited to forcibly drag all of you along with me by your goddamn earlobes.
i also met the mayor of idywyld, i went to many raves, many shows, had many laughs with my friends, have sufficiently made an ass of myself and made myself proud. i also went to massachusetts and turned 20 that was a whole thing. ive really gotten to know myself this year, its definitely been one hell of a kick into my 20s, ive made it a point to try to just be happy this year, and to try to surround myself with the best people possible and i think so far im doing pretty okay at that :)
