Today, I took part in the local authors fair, one of the events for the Chester Literature Festival, organised by @storyhouselive . It was great chatting to readers and writers. 📚 Time to relax now and watch Eurovision 🎵
Delighted to get a joke on Breaking the News this week. 😀
If you’ve not heard this programme before it’s a topical news quiz hosted by Des Clarke that’s warmly satirical.

Hello! Just wanted to tell you that I’ll be reading and chatting about the Una mysteries at the Books On The Walls bookshop in Chester this Saturday 21st from 2-2.30pm. It’s free to come along. 🧮🔍📚🐈
This lovely bookstore has just celebrated its first anniversary. It’s situated on the Roman walls in Chester at 2 City Walls. And while browsing through their books you can get a coffee and cake. 📚☕️🍰
Had a great weekend at the first Cheshire Crime Writers Festival organised by @thecuriouscatbookshop . Congratulations to James, Lisa and all the team, plus a special thanks to Bernie for stepping in to compère my session so brilliantly. Here are a few pictures plus the stack of books I brought back!

Today I visited a new Wirral book shop called Paper and Word @paperandword who focus on fantasy books. I don’t read much in this genre so good to try something new. May be of interest to you @beckyhunterbooks or @heathergharrisauthor . I also picked up a book jacket like a lovely book puffa jacket - I must admit when I was waiting on the train platform on the way back I wished they did a matching Jo-sized one! 🥶😂
I’m delighted to be part of the first Cheshire Crime Writers Festival 😀 taking place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February next year! Thank you to everyone who came to the launch event for A Calculated Murder at @linghamsbooks last night! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Thanks in particular to Jane and all the team at Linghams for organising this event, and to @carolinecorcoranwriter for making the conversation flow with your thoughtful questions.
