I am not ignoring the blow
The sun has been blinding me today
Can't look you in the eye with eyes wide open
Still
Even if I may look like I'm pretending
It ain't like that
Don't be fooled that I haven't heard that
I heard it right I heard it clear
I wrote it down in my memory
One day I'm gonna open that page
And look at it
And laugh out loud
Was I that naive
It was just a small step back
Hearing all that
But also at the same time
It has been a stepping stone
Into the process
Eyes wide open
I fly
I spread my wings now
I might never see you again
I might never go back
To where we have left it at
