Long-time Milan-based DJ, producer and music curator, JOA forged their music experience in DIY queer parties, raves, and later by playing in venues throughout Italy (Argo16, Link, Azimut Club Torino) and Europe (Kwia Berlin). Pushing and crushing boundaries between genres under the hard dance umbrella, they conjure fast, experimental and ecstatic djsets, ranging from DnB, Breakcore/Jungle, Juke, Techno and Latincore, unafraid to mix or to reference. She co-founded the maximalist music platform SPITE and has been collaborating with Spiritual Sauna and their experimental clubbing experience, curating party-care and sound.

JOA, ha plasmato il proprio sound attraverso party queer DIY, rave e locali in tutta Italia ed Europa, insieme al lavoro curatoriale con collettivi milanesi come Spiritual Sauna, SPITE e Spiritella Furfante. I suoi mix sono andati in onda su Cashmere Radio, Stegi.Radio e Fritto FM. Una miscela estatica di hard drum, free tek, jungle, breakcore e juke; accostamenti imprevedibili ed euforia trans.

Alias di Pietro Michi, artista sonoro e fondatore di Biodiversità Records. Il progetto fonde varie influenze della club music in modo libero, spingendole su un piano a tratti non funzionale. Suoni di organismi digitali che esplorano realtà biotiche alternative.

Esplora le sonorità bass, ambient e club decostruito con un approccio ruvido ed instabile. I suoi set sono ribellioni silenziose: fragili ed emotivi. Un suono che non chiede il permesso e cammina al proprio tempo.

Pushing and crushing boundaries between genres under the hard dance umbrella, they conjure fast, hard and ecstatic DJ set, ranging from DnB, Breakcore/Jungle, Juke, Techno and Latincore, unafraid to mix or to reference. They co-founded the maximalist music platform @spite000 and are now being a godmother for newborn queer/flinta collective @spiritellafurfante . She’s also been collaborating with @spiritualsauna ’s crew and their experimental clubbing experiences, curating door-care and sound.
