Wohnsituationen und Repräsentationen manifestieren sich im Gartenzwerg als gesellschaftliches Kitschobjekt. ZWRG ist der Gartenzwerg, den du nicht im Busch verstecken musst. Die Skulpturen aus Keramik beschützen und kümmern sich um deine Wohlfühl-Oase. Ob auf dem Balkon in der Stadt, auf dem Fenstersims von Besetzungen oder im Badezimmer auf dem Land - sie fühlen sich überall wohl. Place du Terminus hinter Gleis 6 am Bahnhof Renens. Freund*innenschaft sind für uns Orte, wo wir spielerisch sein können, keine Angst haben müssen Fehler zu machen oder zurückgewiesen zu werden, ein Ort um zu verlernen und zu lernen. Freund*innenschaft, ist eine Spielwiese und ein Gegenentwurf zu einer gelernter Konkurrenz in einem kapitalistischen, ausbeuterischen System. “Life is a playground with you” ist eine Performance, die sich romantische Codes auf skurrile, überspitzte und verspielte Weise aneignet und damit Freund*innenschaft als ein Ort des Widerstands, Care und Rest wertschätzt. Die Performance wird im Rahmen der Ausstellung MUTTERSCHIFF von Maria & Regina Bänziger (@maria_baenziger ) gezeigt. REFLECTING PROJECTIONS by Lyvia Muniz Gomes Wägli und Joana Felicia Hirt @joansker @lyv.mgw This installation seeks an insight into the stigmatised topic of sex work. On the one hand, sex work raises questions of precarious living conditions, economic dependence and un(der)paid care work. On the other hand, sex workers become a projection screen for patriarchal attitudes, are morally condemned or portrayed as helpless victims. These dichotomous attributions don’t so much reflect their own reality, but rather society’s ideas of sexuality and gender. And it is precisely these that this project aims to highlight. The exchange facilitated by the Zurich-based advice centre Isla Victoria focuses on the individual biographies and realities of six sex workers. Their stories were explored through sound recordings and handmade ceramic objects during the diploma exhibition at Toniareal. Another part could be seen at the window „die Diele“ on Langstrasse. The changing terms in the projection create a multifaceted picture of people whose lives cannot be reduced to their professional activities. The installation creates space for their desires and experiences and encourages people to rethink their assumptions and projections. This summer I learned alot about the soil in Greece, agriculture, the city of Athens, tourist and companies exploiting the land and the locals.
