Answering some Maldives Q’s as an excuse to post another dump -
We found the amount of islands/hotels so overwhelming so we used @oroko_travel to plan everything for us and found them brilliant, we just told them exactly what we were looking for & they sent us options.
We stayed in @anantarakihavah - I can’t say enough good things about it, the island is absolutely beautiful & felt so safe. The staff were incredible, such lovely people & they’re so good with kids- we stayed in a beach villa with an infinity pool & they literally fenced the pool for us as they knew we were arriving with a toddler- the attention to detail was immaculate 🥹
& the fooood oh my god, everything was SO good- I’ll never be over the under water restaurant.
There’s also so many activities to do, they have their own house reef so you can snorkel/dive right off the beach- padel/kayak/pilates etc but it’s definitely not for night life, we were in bed by 10 most nights which is exactly what we were looking for.
We traveled by sea plane from the airport, it’s so fine just noisy so we brought noise cancelling head phones for 👶🏻
Aaaand that’s about it I’d move there in the morning x
