Witnessing the beautiful and magical culture of this island I have the luck to call home. The streets come alive with people in traditional white, early prayers, offerings, incense smoke. Penjors decorate as symbol of gratitude. Galungan in the Island of the Gods. Shot on FX3 + helios 44-2 #galungan #bali #islandofgods

Interesting how long a simple setup can go. Love to bring quality to run & gun projects like this one. Reels for @montensoda , a stainless steel soda maker that deserves high quality content. More to come 🚀🚀 Make it Glow. Based in Bali, available worldwide.

2025 has been a pretty crazy run ending with 9 nights in a row shooting at Savaya. Exhausted, but feeling grateful. I don’t usually post this kind of content because I’ve never wanted to be boxed in as just a nightlife photographer. But lately there’s been a lot of this, and there’s more to come. So sharing some of my favorite shots from the year. Overall pretty cool to capture these unique moments.

A couple of frames from our latest shoot. Clear example of how a simple filter goes a long way. Bringing movement, texture and volume to the final result. Shot on Sony fx3 + Petzval 80.5 Produced by @glow.contents for @nordictigon

Did a little collab shoot couple weeks back with @wooozy_____ on film 🎞️— no client, no deadlines, just creating for the sake of it. Some reasons why I do these kinds of shoots: 1) Creative freedom – When there’s no client involved, you can try anything. New lighting, crazy ideas, concepts that wouldn’t usually fit a brief. It’s where growth happens. 2) Connection – Every collab is an excuse to meet new people, build relationships, and share ideas. A lot of the best opportunities come from these networks. 3) Passion check-in – Shooting for myself reminds me why I started. No pressure, just me and the camera, enjoying the craft. Reminder of why I love of photography. 4) Portfolio variety – Client work shows reliability, but collabs show personality. They let me create images outside my usual style and add depth to my portfolio. I recommend doing these kinds of shoots not just when you’re starting out, but also later in your career. They keep the spark alive and often lead to unexpected opportunities.

Details, textures and moments at Cap Karoso. From the stunning setting and next-level food to the kindest team and perfectly curated experiences, this place is truly something special. Already dreaming about the next trip back to Sumba. Will share more raw moments about Sumbanese people soon. They were so friendly, welcoming, and their culture super interesting. Definitely something different to witness @cap_karoso

Highlights of Kyoto: Kyoto is full of stunning traditional views—majestic temples, the famous Bamboo Forest, and even a Monkey Forest. But honestly, it’s packed with tourists everywhere you go. While the city has some beautiful pockets, quiet spots, getting to them without the crowds can be a challenge. I can see why Kyoto is a must-see, but on a general notes is not the kind of tourism I like. Maybe cause I see monkeys every day in Bali, but bamboo forest and monkey thing are not that worth it
