Should I Marry A Murderer is out on 29th April on @netflix . A truly incredible team and I have been working on this for the last year and a half up in the highlands of Scotland. It’s a crazy story about an amazing woman, with an unimaginable dilemma at its heart. What happens when you’re the key witness in a murder investigation, and the suspect is your fiancé?

Hauntings: The Enfield Poltergeist, a film I made @storyfilms_tv is on iPlayer now and tonight at 10.20 on BBC2. In September 1977, police attend a house in Enfield, London, to investigate a reported home invasion. There had been loud knocking on the wall and furniture moved. The two officers can find no evidence of a break-in, but they do hear rapping on the walls, see furniture tilt independently and a chair slide several metres across the room on its own. This is to be the first of many extraordinary events that have been recorded on film and audio tape, culminating in disembodied voices and levitation. To this day, the activities remain difficult to explain.

The Enfield Poltergeist is one of the most infamous, mysterious and contentious poltergeist cases ever recorded. It took place in North London in the late 1970s and involved multiple credible witnesses allegedly observing telekinesis, levitation, possession, and contact from an entity long dead. Various reporters, photographers, scientists and investigators spent months in the house to record these phenomena. We interview them in the first episode of Hauntings: The Enfield Poltergeist.
