The fun continues with a noon tip-off in Valparaiso, Indiana. It’s @valpobasketball v. @stonehillbball on a free Santa hat giveaway day. Stonehill is team 299. Only 65 left. I’ve never been this close to the end! Thanks for @benschmidt13 for joining the Odyssey this week.
The Odyssey is touring America. I’m in Fort Wayne, Indiana with a the amazing @benschmidt13 for a doubleheader. First game pits @iupuimbb v. @lion_athletics . Texas A/M Commerce is team 297! Welcome to the club.
Last week the odyssey travelled several blocks to the Kohl Center for UW v. Lehigh. Thanks for making team 296 so easy. I really appreciate it. Just 68 teams left.
Several rare feats in the Odyssey today. First, a trip to Milwaukee earns two new teams in one game, @ucdavismbb and @semo_mbb . Now up to 295; only 69 left. Second, the Odyssey is back to its roots. I’m enjoying the game with two amazing Peace Corps friends, Dan (all the way from Madagascar) and Mike (all the way from Mequon). The Odyssey is the best!
This year’s Jason’s Basketball Odyssey is off to a fantastic start. Thanks to the awesome athletic department team at @tommiehoops , I was honored during the game for now seeing 293 of 364 college basketball teams. I really appreciate the opportunity. Thanks as well to @sfbkmbb for heading to my hometown. Only 71 teams left.
The rarest of rare…an odyssey game with two new teams. My home state of Minnesota finally added a second D1 team. Thanks to @tommieathletics for making the leap. St. Thomas is team 291 and @du_mhoops is 292. Progress!
The basketball odyssey is back. @dixiestatebasketball is team 290. Only 69 to go. @benschmidt13 and I are sitting court-side @chicagostateuniversity for this WAC matchup. I’m other news…enjoyed my first Whopper in 15 years on the way down. Delicious!
Jason’s Basketball Odyssey is back! It feels great to be at it again after a season and a half break. Thanks @mkepanthers for hosting a new team, @alcornstateu . For those counting, that’s 289 of 359 teams. With the ever expanding world of NCAA D1 basketball, I’m now 80.5% done. Here’s to another great year!

DaneMAC’s transforming how survivors of sexual violence access help here in Madison, WI. DaneMAC empowers survivors of sexual violence by cultivating community collaboration and improving access to coordinated, streamlined, and innovative support. They’re using technology and mobilizing care in new, adaptable ways to make it easier for survivors to connect with service providers and for those service providers to connect with each other.
Case in point: DaneMAC’s mobile Forensic Nurse Exam Program will make it easier for a survivor to get free, specialized, trauma-informed post-assault medical care. For decades, there’s only been one location (in a community of 500,000) where a survivor could get a sex assault exam. DaneMAC is partnering with UW-Madison and local health clinics to offer patients **free mobile** FNEs. Thanks to DaneMAC, survivors will be able to schedule an exam at the location and time most convenient to them. Pretty straightforward, right?
