This year has been nothing short of a journey — a long, emotional rollercoaster that tested me in ways I never expected. It began with uncertainty so heavy that some days, I didn’t know what the next moment would bring. Sleepless nights, stressful days, meetings and hearings that felt like they would never end. But even through all of that, we kept moving. We kept believing. And in the end, my family and I achieved what we fought so hard for. After a year of standing our ground, we finally got the outcome we needed. That victory marked the start of something new — fresh beginnings, a new chapter, a new life. The adjustment wasn’t easy. After fighting for so long, stepping into change can feel just as challenging. But we embraced it, step by step. Then came summer — a reminder that life still has joy waiting for us. I lived fully, crossed things off my bucket list, enjoyed festivals, music, and unforgettable moments. But as summer ended, life shifted again. Everything that seemed steady suddenly fell apart. I had to move home, my job ended, and finding work felt impossible, especially with the construction industry in recession. Those months were tough. Stressful. Uncertain. I questioned myself, my decisions, my direction. But here’s the thing about hitting low points: they’re often where strength is reborn. And that’s exactly what happened. After pushing, applying, and refusing to give up, I found work again. This year became a wake-up call — a reminder to confront my struggles, to protect my mental health, and to recognize the resilience I didn’t know I had. Now, as Christmas arrives — a time of family, food, celebration, and reflection — I look back not with regret, but with pride. Because every challenge that tried to break me only made me stronger. So I end this year with hope. With clarity. With purpose. I’m stepping into 2026 with plans, goals, and a renewed belief in myself. No matter what comes next, I know I can face it.
