Offiziell nicht bestätigte Zwischenzeit 140 x 100 cm Acryl auf 6 MDF Platten, Stahlringe 2025 Die Bezeichnung „Zwischenzeit“ kommt aus dem Bereich des "Arbeitsstudium" und bezieht sich auf im betrieblichen Arbeits­ ablauf vorgesehene Unter­ brechungen, auf ungeplante, menschliche Abweichungen von mechanischer Präzision. Diese Abweichungen sollen eingeplant und berechnet und somit ebenfalls optimiert werden. Für „Werktag“ bei @artists.unlimited habe ich unter anderem ein begeh- bares Notizbuch hergestellt, ein absurdes Protokoll, welches innerhalb des Rhythmus eines normierten achtstündigen Arbeitstages stattfindet, 9 to 5. „Zwischenzeiten“ des Werktages werden poetisch gefüllt. Curated by Antonio De Falco Opening: 25 April 2026, 16:00 The Drawing Cake is an informal gathering focused on contemporary drawing. Seven artists will be featured in a one-day exhibition event, held just before Gallery Week and Paper Position, at the Mitte studio of artist Elisa Canducci, curated by Antonio De Falco. Artists: Sara Antimi, Elisa Canducci, Janne Marie Dauer, Clara Gonzalez, Lisa Jura, Sophia Tabatadze, Fabrizia Vanetta. The idea is to mix the works of seven artists from different backgrounds on the studio walls, blending and juxtaposing their pieces. It takes the form of an open studio with invited guests. The project’s title playfully revolves around the concept of cake—not as a specific theme or design constraint, but simply as an excuse to emphasize a tasting of cakes brought by the artists, which will also serve as the event’s catering. The whole experience is centered on conviviality and sharing. Entering an artist’s studio is always an intimate experience, one that calls for engagement and a gesture of hospitality. ⸻ Der Zeichenkuchen The Drawing Cake Der Zeichenkuchen ist ein informelles Treffen zum zeitgenössischen Zeichnen. Sieben Künstlerinnen werden in einer eintägigen Ausstellungsveranstaltung präsentiert, die der Gallery Week und Paper Position vorausgeht. Die Veranstaltung findet im Atelier der Künstlerin Elisa Canducci in Mitte statt, in Zusammenarbeit mit Antonio De Falco. Die Idee ist es, die Werke von sieben Künstlerinnen unterschiedlicher Herkunft an den Atelierwänden zu mischen und miteinander zu verbinden. Es handelt sich um eine Art Open Studio mit eingeladenen Gästen. Der Titel des Projekts spielt verspielt mit der Idee der Torte – nicht als spezifisches Thema oder gestalterische Vorgabe, sondern vielmehr als Vorwand, um eine Verkostung von Kuchen zu betonen, die von den Künstlerinnen mitgebracht werden und zugleich als Catering der Veranstaltung dienen. Die Veranstaltung steht im Zeichen von Geselligkeit und Teilen. Der Besuch eines Künstlerateliers ist immer eine intime Erfahrung, die Engagement und eine Geste der Gastfreundschaft erfordert.

Puddle thinks on Itself, 166 x 149 cm, acrylics on paper. My last painting @salzamtlinz , I wanted to combine the grammar of comics with painting and had this idea of a puddle that thinks about a sunset, which may be in its future or in its past. I recently thought about my application portfolio for Kunsthochschule Kassel because of a conversation with @ferdinandlutz about that time. For this application I had made a series about the day in the life of a puddle. Talking about it made me want to revisit the potential of puddles as mirrors of daily life and environments. #painting #comic
