Happy Naming Day to Guinness!! We officially adopted this sweet, playful pup a day or two before St Patrick’s Day after fostering her for a couple months. We had some friends over for dinner on St. Patrick’s and were having a Guinness when my friend @katiecanavan suggested we name her after the delicious black and tan beverage we were enjoying. Perfect name for this perfect pint of a pup! She nearly always has a grin on her face, LOVES to play, occasionally she puts on her mischievous eyes and gets into a little trouble, but is just the sweetest, happiest, best dog you could ever ask for. An absolute delight. We are quite lucky she found us! Love you Guin! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀🐾
Happy belated Earth Day! I spent it in Joshua Tree NP with great friends (old and new), and spent hours staring up at the stars. I took these shots around 3am on Earth Day, and I’m pretty happy with the results. We live on a beautiful planet, and it has a beautiful view.
I am full to the brim with joy, pride, and gratitude. I was honored to receive the Orange County Theatre Guild award for Outstanding Direction of a Musical for American Idiot.
I am so thankful to have worked on a dream show with an amazing cast and team!
Our entire cast won Outstanding Ensemble, @daggy6260 won Supporting Actor, Hunter Moody won for Sound Design, @designla83 won for Projection Design, and my dear dear friend and INCREDIBLE creative partner @apollossong won Outstanding Choreography!!
Thank you OCTG and voters! It was such a wonderful, celebratory evening with so many amazing artists and friends.
I don’t do this for recognition. But I put more blood, sweat, tears, and hours into this show than anything I’ve ever done before. And sometimes you can’t help but doubt yourself and wonder if anyone notices, especially when you work in the most ephemeral of art forms.
I think theater is the most collaborative art, and did I ever have some great collaborators on this one. I can’t thank everyone in the cast and team enough.
I’m lucky. I’m blessed. I’m happy.
American Idiot received 15 OC Theatre Guild Award nominations! The most of any production, and we were nominated for every single category possible. What an honor!
